A trip to Ho Chi Minh over the weekend was quite the eyeopener. Despite some culture shock, it was nonetheless a very good and memorable experience. As someone once said “Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.” How true. I love that saying even if it’s not true. 🙂

Construction workers. Best thing was.. they were wearing slippers!

So I discovered yet another fuss-free and simple to use online photo editor while at work today. No downloads, no charges.

Pixlr.com presents 3 different editing tiers. Advanced, Express and Pixlr-o-matic.

Choosing ‘Advanced’ will bring users to an interface similar to photoshop which honestly, dont bother. You’d be better off using photoshop.

Then there is the ‘Express’ option which allows users to create collages and add texts, stickers, doodle and etc. A cross between instagram and neoprint machines. Takes abit of figuring out what all the icons do. But other than that, really idiot-proof. See sample.

And lastly, there is the ‘Pixlr-o-matic’ option which is really instagram, only that its on the computer and that it has much more effects and overlays (more effects) and borders. See sample.

Taipei 101.

Photo editing has never been easier with the rise of all these free softwares.   But of course, the only downside is that the resolution is only good for web. Or at most, 4R.

There’s so much more effects and combinations that you can try out. Do try it out and share if you like this or if you like any other recommendations.
